Yes, many comment to me that I stretch almost the same amount of time that I jog but then it makes all that difference. Warm-up and cool-down are very very essential before you undertake any exhausting activity.
Just at the right time Rahul Verghese (from runningandliving.com) in his alternate Sunday articles in "The Hindu" emphasizes on the need to stretch. It was there in the last Sunday's "The Hindu", Magazine section (March 23, 2008, Page 6).
